JimTurnbull is CEO of the Food Development Company and Director of the Transylvania Food company Srl. He is Founder and Managing Director of BMC Ltd and his company first started to work in Romania in 2000 on an agribusiness project. From 2002 to 2004 he was Director of Transylvania Management Services (UK) Ltd preparing a project for the Global Environment Facility and from late 2004 until early 2011 he was a Founder, Director & Company Secretary of Fundatia ADEPT Ltd, a charity registered in England, and Founder & Director of Fundatia ADEPT Transylvania, a charity registered in Romania. Sir Norman Murray Pringle Bt is CFO and Company Secretary of the Food Development Company Ltd and founder and Managing Director of Salama Ltd. He is a Chartered Management Accountant, Chartered Secretary and Certified Management Consultant. He has been an Associate Consultant with BMC Ltd since 2003, working on the Government Business Link scheme assisting business start-ups and with the preparation of business plans for various commercial and development organisations. He has worked for many years as consultant and/or team leader with high-profile organisations in the food, ecological-tourism and development areas, specialising in strategic and financial planning. This has included the business plan for the Transylvania Food Company.

Juliet Turnbull is responsible for our stock held in the UK and for on-line sales from PivnitaBunicii Etsy shop. She has a degree  in Textile Design and designs and produces a range  of wall hangings, cards, postcards, jewellery, clothing and home accessories. Visit her JulietTurnbullShop on Etsy

Edwin Vera is an adviser to, and shareholder in, the Food Development Company. From 1999 until 2009, he has been responsible for the development and management of project opportunities in the Latin America & the Caribbean (LAC) region. Within development consultancy organisations and as an independent consultant in the LAC region, Africa and Asia, he has worked with private, public, non-profit making organisations and the main development agencies (DAs), including the European Commission, World Bank, DFID and Government Organisations. He is equally fluent in English and Spanish and will be responsible for developing opportunities for the Food Development Company in Central and South America.

Maurice Pullen is an adviser to, and shareholder in, the Food Development Company Ltd.  He has many years of international experience in the insurance industry and advises the Transylvania Food Company on appropriate cover in Romania.
