The Transylvania Food Company (TFC) is a commercial enterprise that will take forward the project activities started by Jim Turnbull in 2005.

These activities  linked biodiversity conservation with economic development for the people living in the area by developing eco-tourism and promoting traditional food products from the area - initially high fruit / low added sugar jams and poliflora honey from the wild flower meadows.

Business best practice will now be combined  with social and environmental benefits for the area to create a sustainable micro enterprise in the Tarnava Mare area.
